Prompt: Write about the best gift you have received.

Prompt Response: The best gift I have received is my CD player. My mom had got it for me off of Amazon. It is purple, portable, and can be connected to Bluetooth. Collecting CDs and listening to them is a big hobby of mine. So of course I use my CD player every day. I will always be grateful my mom bought it for me.

Summary: In class we took "Vocabulary for the College Bound Lesson 1 Quiz", took notes on formal and informal language, and wrote one claim for our argument paragraph.

Reflection: I learned that you use formal language for any situation where you have a serious purpose.
