Prompt: Write about a moment when you had to step out of your comfort zone.

Prompt Response: A moment I had to step out of my comfort zone was flying for the first time. My family and I were taking a trip to Las Vegas, Nevada. They were able to convince me to go despite my anxieties about the whole thing. Right before we boarded the plane, I thought I could feel my heart almost drop. I was going to face my biggest fears. As the plane was about to take off, I closed my eyes and took a big deep breath.

Summary: In class we started the "Ambush" by Tim O'Brien" assignment on Writable.

Reflection: I learned that an internal conflict is a struggle within a character.
