Prompt: If you had to write a poem about your life RIGHT NOW, what would it be about? Explain your answer in at least 4 to 5 sentences.

Prompt Response: If I had to write a poem about my life right now, it would be about how the difficult times you go through make life more interesting. Living a struggle- free life lacks depth. The low points are necessary to appreciate the high points so much more. It's about finding peace in the madness. Life is no fun through clear waters.

Summary: In class we took notes on how to write a rhetorical analysis.

Reflection: I learned that a thesis from a rhetorical analysis must include the author's name, an adjective, 3 rhetorical devices, a strong verb, and the function.
