Prompt: Reflect on a time when you had to rely on someone else. How did it feel?

Prompt Response: When my family and I were going through a rough time, my younger sister was the only source of joy I had during that time. Not only me, but my entire family relied on her to keep our family together. She was the glue. I and no other member of my family would have persevered through that rough patch if she was not here. I am forever grateful to call her my sister.

Summary: In class we learned 3 rhetorical devices (procatalepsis, distinctio, and simile) and did exercises on them.

Reflection: I learned that the word "so" can be used in the context of a simile.
