Prompt: Reflect on your research topic and identify the most compelling issue connected to it. Clearly explain what the issue is and discuss why you find it particularly interesting or important. Support your response with specific details from your research.

Prompt Response: The most compelling issue connected to the war on terrorism is how hypocritical the counter terrorism strategies are. They are fighting against an act of violence with violence. Through direct military spending, the war on terrorism has costed over a trillion dollars by 2017. I find this particularly interesting because it shows how one note these strategies have been post-9/11. Funding the ongoing conflict between the U.S. and the Middle East is counterproductive. Killing our way through terrorism will just keep the campaign going in circles.

Summary: In class we went through our sources and chose the best 7 sources in our group.

Reflection: Through picking the best sources, I will have better evidence, which makes writing my research paper easier.
